Prepaid for my rental months before pickup. Was refused my rental when I got to the counter when I wanted to use a different credit card to pay my incidentals and taxes. In my contract it stated I could do that. When spoke to the manager I was told "that's how we are trained". Worst experience ever!! I did receive my money back, but was given a hard time at first from customer service. Will never rent from again....
Worst rental car company I've ever dealt with. Customer Service rep was not knowledgeable she screwed up my contract. The manager was a complete jerk, was very rude and disrespectful. I'd recommend going ANYWHERE before you do business with them. Besides the horrible treatment, the vehicle they gave me had multiple dents and dings and the windshield was cracked.
The clerk this day was THE RUDEST person I think I've ever met in my life. While dealing with a broken rental, and being directed to this Hertz, she told me that they "don't replace cars for corporate" naturally, I went back outside to call corporate to see why they sent me there. In the meantime, the clerk asks my wife "Jesus how long have you been married to him?!"
Jay the assistant branch manager said car was not ready at reserved time. He had other vehicles but would not upgrade even though I would need to wait an hour for car to be cleaned. Had reservations mast treatment and I am a business account owner with them. Stay clear!!! Hopefully it will let me post pics of my belongings and two small kids waiting on the street in front of the office. They have cars available but I need to wait an hour before they clean it and my drop off time stays same as reservation
Excellent customer service Hertz (sarcasm). We will NEVER use Hertz again.
I spoke with Jay today and everything was great. Jay not only assisted me in actually finding the building itself but also has to be the single most honest rental agent i myself have dealt with. Reservations were good, experience was good, and overall trip was a pleasant one. I can see myself coming back here again.
