I had my 06 Audi A4 towed in because it wasn't accelerating and sputtering badly. After calling other shops in the area that work on German cars and seeing that the dealer charged about the same for diagnosis I decided to bring it there to get a real deal answer. From the time my car arrived I worked with Deann in service. After getting diagnosed (ahead of scheduled time and very accurately and thoroughly) I decided to have the actual work done elsewhere because my budget didn't allow for the price, but I give this place 5 starts for OUTSTANDING customer service. Deann kept me posted on every single step of the process and even gave me a cell phone number to contact her, as they were extremely busy and she wanted me to be able to get to her. She walked across to the service area to talk to the techs several times when I had questions and called me straight away with an honest answer and in terms that I could understand, even texted me photos of the part that needed replacing and the tow arriving to pick my vehicle up. I cannot say enough good about my experience dealing with Audi and if I had the funds to get my car fixed here there wouldn't have even been a question. I would highly recommend bringing your audi here for diagnosis and if you can, get the work done there as well. If they do as great of a job on repairs as Deann did with customer service I'm pretty sure your car will be returned to you in flawless condition!!!

Total lack of customer service when trying to get warranty work accomplished. Took over one year to get Takata airbag replaced with "interim" fix (service department can't explain what that means), now McDaniel Audi refuses to do emissions-related ("DieselGate" Court Settlement) warranty work. This service experience, along with our last 3 will ensure that we never purchase another Audi ever again.
My Q5 developed a noise while driving to Charleston on vacation. Called before we arrived in town. Buddy Baldwin worked to get me squeezed on Friday afternoon with a full schedule until Monday. Upon entering I was greeted immediately by Jim. Deann was very nice and helpful at write up. Facility has a Quattro Cafe with beverages, tv, wifi, and a good selection of magazines. Technician Matthias was great. He test drove with me to try to replicate the noise and looked over the car. This dealership has a very friendly and helpful staff. I've been an automotive service manager for five years and know what a team encounters while trying to deliver exceptional service. These guys all went above an beyond. Thank you all for your help!
