BTW, for the ‘free’ stay, we had to send in over $175… please don’t ask… but we were lucky enough to get that money back but, we’re still ripped off of the $2800 for this ‘privilege’… with no benefits.
Do NOT buy anything from them but DO spend 1-hour to listen their sales pitch. We got 4 vouchers for 2 adults to see area attractions. We went on a carriage ride through Carolina Polo ($50), 2-"ghost" tours ($50-x 2) through Bulldog, and went to Fort Sumter($42) all for free. That's $192 saved.
I really am kicking myself for my gullibility to ‘buy’ their sales line – wow – what a rude awakening.
Our first attempt to get a date for a 1 week ‘free’ stay never got us a confirmed date after 4 tries.
SCAM ALERT! It is labeled "Visitor Info" on the outside and looks like something official but is really a time-share type place. The agent offered us a seat at a 90 minute presentation which would then provide us with free or discounted tickets to attractions. I'm not sure what the 90 minute presentation was and the agent was elusive. I later found that it was a lure for customers to a vacation club. We wanted to see Charleston, not sit through a sales pitch.
We tried to get our money back but they refused.

My wife and I spent $2800 for the privilege of using Vacation Station for our travel needs in April 2012 in Charleston, SC.
Heidi did a great job finding a fantastic trip and cruise for my daughter and I to San Juan. Thanks Heidi, you always do your very best. You're a great travel agent. Dianne
You have to send then requests by snail mail (can you believe that!) and give them 3 alternative dates and locations and they choice where and when you go on vacation… what’s wrong with that picture.
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY – IT’S A RIP OFF.
Scam....Don't bother going. They said they ran out of our airline tickets as an incentive to attend and they would mail them to me. 3 weeks and no tickets. I called the lady back that originally contacted me and she said she would take care of it....still no tickets!!! We did get a 50.00 meal at one of the restaurants downtown that I was also offered to attend. The meal was good. The phone # listed no one ever answers or calls back your message.
