Very convenient. Nice ride great staff. Would've been 5 stars if better signage at patriots point. Do not ask staff at patriots point where to go they sent us all the way to charleston harbor. Do take credit/debit on boat. Very nice
This water taxi is awesome! We went out today which was unusually windy. We went from the aquarium wharf to Patriots point. It was fun for our family to see the dolphins and the harbor. When we came back from lunch the wind was even worse, so they cancelled the taxi service for the day. At first I was nervous because we have three small children requiring car seats and we were staying at a hotel downtown Charleston. No problem at all! The driver of the boat ended up driving us all (he brought 3 car seats) back to our hotel. I feel like the water taxi was a great experience and so convenient. Cancelling for the day I guess is unusual for them. I just wanted to be sure to give a great review because this man went above and beyond for us, and we appreciate it is so very much. Thank you!
The Water Taxi was nice and affordable!! We stood in line only to find out you pay on the boat. We thought the ride was going to bumpy due to the waves but it wasn't bad at all. Staff was nice and they even went off schedule to take a lady back to the Waterfront due to she left her purse. She did get it back!! This is a very nice way to get on the water.
I wanted to get my wife out on the water and this was the best way to do it. The ride was smooth and the staff very pleasant. We enjoyed the hour ride around to the different spots, it is a great way to see the different attractions that Charleston has to offer.
Super nice captain and staff. This is a very affordable way to get out on the water on a boat. An all day pass was only $12, and even though we didn't get off at any of the stops or use it as a "taxi", we enjoyed being on the water for a couple hours. Plus, we saw several dolphins! Save your money on the expensive dolphin excursions and do this instead.
