The Sites & Insights Black History tour of Charleston was fantastic. We were in Santee SC for our family reunion and several family members and I made the trip back into Charleston just for the tour. Al Miller was accommodating and made certain that we all got onboard the tour. The tour bus was clean, air conditioned and had toilet facilities. Miller is a native Charlestonian and very knowledgeable about the African American history and Gullah traditions in the city. He is entertaining, charming and a great tour guide. This was my third tour with Sites & Insights and I would do it again and highly recommend it to all.
Mr. Miller is simply the best! This tour was the highlight of our last 2 trips to Charleston. He was informative, friendly and accomodating, stopping his tour often to listen to our questions and answer them.We learned a lot about the African American presence and history in Charleston. The 2 hours went by quickly and we recommend this tour highly!
