Best nachos! You have to get the nachos Royale - nacho ingredients on a toasted tortilla. So yummy!
I'm going to start this review with little rant: I hate having to pay for chips and salsa (and not great ones at that) at a Mexican restaurant when I can get them for free at most of them. Casual place, food is fine but nothing to write home about. I was also upset because some of the happy hour specials that were advertised on the napkin dispensers on each table were no longer accurate due to "cost increases" per our waitress. That's all well and good but change the advertisement if it's not good anymore! I was not impressed with the service either. This is an ok place to stop for a drink if you are walking by, but there are so many excellent Mexican restaurants in Charleston(Santi's!) don't waste your time on this one.
This place was awesome! Very delicious salsa! Only thing is the chips and salsa are not free and you only get one serving. Our lunch was delicious also.
Me and my boyfriend went here for drinks at the end of our night. It was 1:50am and we were nearly done with our drinks and had already closed our tab. The bartenders kept yelling to finish up and that they were closing even though we had 10 minutes. They treated us rudely including the bouncer and we didn't even get to finish our last drink. The service here is poor and I recommend many of the other bars on King St where they know how to treat their patrons.
Some of the best seasoned chicken nachos I have had! I would also highly suggest the house margherita. The prices aren't astronomical, and the food gets to you quickly
