We came into town for the weekend and wanted to get a quick drink and appetizer before we went to dinner. Walking by we saw that the rooftop bar looked pretty cool. Little did we know we were going to have the worst food and service ever! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Save yourself the trip!!!
I wanted to stop by and give this place a good review. We came here to watch a football game this past weekend. We had to wait a while considering, but once we got seated we had GREAT service by our waiter and the food was very good! I would recommend going here while in Charleston if you're looking for a good sports bar.
We are from Florence and for my birthday my husband took us to Carolina Ale and it was amazing my first time. No wait time. It’s a bar but not too loud on the inside. They have roof top seating and the view is amazing! They had 2 high flame heaters out there but the one we sat next to was out of gas so that caused us to want to go back on the inside and eat. Friendly staff managers on top of their jobs. Jessica was our server and she was amazing she even tried to write “happy birthday” on the free birthday dessert an excellent sever always goes outta her way to please the guest and that she did. The Long Island Ice teas are outta this world ! I ordered the baked shrimp and spinich Alfredo which I’ve never had before and it blew my mind ! I will recommend as a top place to eat in SC. We will be back for more buisness!
Our meal was excellent and, despite the crowd, our food came out fast. If you're trying to catch a game be sure to come early because people do camp out during the game's entirety. Some tables will have butts in them for hours, so again come early. If you're not sure your game will be on I'm sure you can call ahead to be sure - honestly, there's so many TV's, anything you want is sure to be on. Also our server, Taylor, was awesome. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone, game on or not. You'll really want to go when the weather is nice to sit on the outside rooftop terrace, especially at sunset. One of the best views in Charleston, hands down.
Solid food choices. Many drafts. They do tester flights. Great for watching the game. Friendly service.
