Ordered two medium pizzas at 7:02pm for pick-up and the gentlemen on the phone said it would be 30 minutes, 40 min tops for our order to be ready. We arrived at 7:55pm just to be safe and upon arrival only one of our pizzas was done (and it wasn't even sitting on the heaters so it was sitting out cold) and then we had to wait until 8:20pm for the other to be ready. They have all this brand new equipment and apparently no clue how to properly use it efficiently enough to keep up with orders.
I have no problem waiting if a business is busy, but the disorganization occurring on this night was outrageous. The gentlemen waiting next to me waited 25 minutes as they told him nothing he ordered was ready and finally a delivery driver walked in and looked on the heat rack and his entire order had been sitting there the entire time.
From now on I'll be driving the extra 15 minutes over to Papa Johns.
The food was fine and a good price, the dining area was cool, and they had a chalkboard for people to write on. My issue was how long the food took. I was the only person waiting for food and it took 17 minutes to get an Italian sandwich, which was supposed to take 10 at maximum. The wait was just absolutely too long, especially for being one of the only people in there.
The slowest service. The online tracker nor the in store screen to indicate when your order is ready is never accurate. Employees who make pizzas do not wear gloves and I watched the pizza dough guy rub the corner of his eye 2x and never wash hands. I ordered online ....tracker indicated pizzas would be ready in 14-19 minutes...I knew from previous orders this would not be the case. Arrived to pick up pizza at 25 minutes ...store screen indicated 7 more minutes and I was 4th on the list. I waited in store 30+ minutes...in store screen wait time increased ...how is that possible? After waiting for 57 minutes I cancelled my order and employee shouted to other employees to cancel order. 3 hours later I received a voicemail indicating my pizzas were sitting in the store waiting for pickup...how's that for terrible service. Orlando's is far better pizza and far better service!
This place is horribly slow. We live 7 minutes down the road and ordered on a Wednesday night (and we'd understand if this was on a weekend) but our pizza took over an hour to be delivered. Couldn't help but notice our order was left sitting there for 25 minutes after "being checked on." When we finally got our order we got none of the sauces we ordered and it was kind of cold. This isn't the first time either, the first time it took us over TWO HOURS to get our food. We got no apology or offer of a discount. This was also not on a weekend. Not the driver's fault, just ridiculously bad managing!
Before I start this, I just want to say that I NEVER write reviews. The first few weeks it was open, it was delicious...But recently, the service has been terrible. Tonight we ordered a pizza online for carryout at 9:33 p.m. We get there and the pizza delivery guy has taken the wrong pizza, so they have to make another one. This wasn't that big of a deal--annoying yes, but could have been easily gotten over. We get home with the second pizza and it has the wrong toppings. My boyfriend calls back and tells them they have messed up for a second time and asks if they could deliver it so we won't have to go back out. They tell him we would have to pay a delivery charge on top of whatever we would decide to tip (we always tip). Now it's close to 11 p.m. and we haven't eaten dinner yet. Get it together.
