Cons:
5. Hidden fees... trash $25 a month, pest control, admin fees and new account fees. You're never told about all the fees upfront.
4. Staff is slow to respond but nice people
2. No big dog policy. Put a big dig on the second floor with hardwood floors. Always sounded like a herd of elephants was running over my head.
6. Pricey
Everyone here is easy going, especially the leasing office ladies, who are extremely nice.
Pros:
3.Parking lot is flooded often
1. Not managed properly.
Amazing staff!!!! Pre and post move in the staff was very informative and friendly. We looked at many beautiful communities around the Daniel Island and Mt Pleasant area but hand picked Sweetwater because of the outstanding service that was provided by the whole management/leasing team. They set the standard high and made us feel like were at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
Amazing view with crazy awesome pool.
Thin floor so you can hear your upstairs neighbors and are frequently interrupted when trying to have deep focus silence.
Although the leasing office ladies are extremely nice, they realistically cannot do/haven't done anything about the cons aforementioned.
Apartment Units and single family homes still under construction, lots of noise, dust debris flying around. I would expect that to continue for at least another few years or longer at the current rate of construction. Good luck making a left turn out of the neighborhood to get to 526 in the mornings or afternoons. There are a hundreds units including over 100 single family homes that have access to the amenities, so once built out I would imagine it would be crowded at the one pool and other common spaces.
You and other neighbors dryer vents are fed into your screened in porch so you get lots of lint trapped in your porch.
Unfortunately, at this time I do not recommend Sweetwater. I moved in in mid May after 4 postponements due to construction. I was initially excited about moving into a new complex so close to the waterfront with great amenities. However, many of these amenities were not available when I moved in. The pool was not completed until mid summer. And the clubhouse is still under construction along with several other buildings. I have now experienced health issues due to mold in my current apartment. I tried to move to a different apartment in the complex but the prices have skyrocketed. AND I was even told by the office manager l that I shold look into moving down the street to a nearby competitor apartment complex. (I will say that in spite of all the problems Sweetwater has, the ladies in the office have been courteous)
Cons:
Pros: clean, new construction, nice amenities
