It's a great park with many things going on. Today was celebration for Hanukkah but they did many things there. During the summer there is a farmer's market there on the weekends. Best bet it to Google it to plan your visit
Nice downtown park used for craft shows and fairs and farmers market. Lots of historic ambiance and some monuments. Easy access to restaurants and paid parking garages. I don’t believe there are public restrooms but there are plenty of local business around. Starbucks on the corner. There are often buskers in front of the Frances Marion Hotel which is fun.
Merchandise varies from fresh vegetables to handmade jewelry, local cheeses and honey to handmade hats and shawls and more.
I'll edit with info & photos when I get it!
Had a great day here in the "Park" Saturday after Thanksgiving. there were lots of vendors and even street performers that were GREAT!!!! *FUN TIMES*
It can be very crowded on a Saturday morning for the Farmers market so get parking early.
I met a lovely woman who is knitting my Sadie Mae, a mini dachshund, a hooded sweater. It's been so difficult to fit her it was wonderful to find someone willing to make one to fit her. ❤
A relaxing park right in the heart of Charleston, I'm sure this place has some history and I wish I knew more about it. Community events are held here, vendor shows, occasionally live music, holiday events, etc. It's a great place to congregate or meet friends, take a cool evening stroll, or even do some yoga if you're brave.
A fantastic selection of local vendors in this park on king street.
