We did the boat tour. A bit pricey at $8 per nosy. This is seperate from admission into the park. All tours are separate. Lots of birds to view. No alligators to see in our trip. That is the only thing tourist really want to see. I wish that had an alligator viewing area to satisfy my guests. I enjoyed seeing the giant blue baron but then again I love bird watching. The tour is about rice which is no longer culivated in those waters. Seemed silly to yak about growing rice 150 years ago when there is so much nature around you.
Can easily Spend a Day here. Expansive gardens, beware however that everything is an addon the general admission just includes walking around the main grounds. It can easily add up to a $40.00 per person visit.
Gardens aren't exactly my thing, but the tram tour was excellent and entertaining. Great way to see the local wildlife.
Went on a busy Saturday. The garden center where you can buy plants closed 2 hrs early with no notice. Also the Audubon swamp tour was abandoned by staff when we arrived at 330pm. Beautiful grounds, indifferent staff. .
We had a great time wandering through the garden.
