Staying at MUSC with my husband who's ill, I discovered this place through Google Maps and liked the reviews. And yes, this place is everything folks said it was. It's clean, has an assortment of washing machine sizes, a convenience store next door for detergent or snacks. To be honest, coming from out of town, I saw the neighborhood and was a bit wary; it seemed kind of sketchy to me. But the condition of the laundry mat and the friendliness of the locals set my mind at ease right away. It's a nice place that I will definitely use again until my husband gets well enough to go home.
A wonderful outreach staple for the Eastside Community of Downtown Charleston, SC. They even have a drop-off service available for same-day or next-day pickup...along with special "Free Wash" days and a "Blessing Box" that's usually filled with donations for locals to take as they please!!!
Cleanest laundromat in Charleston! They are also ran by a non-profit and if you use their drop-off service it helps employ Eastside residents which is really cool! Everyone is so nice and they have a lot going on always for the community. I highly recommend checking it out!!!!
