The only reason I came across Skatell's was because of these Google reviews and I'm so glad I chose right. I just recently bought an engagement ring from Skatell's and I was absolutely blown away by the customer service, friendly atmosphere, and most important, the vast amounts of quality jewelry. I worked with the owner Jason, who personally took the time to sit down and educate me about the diamond buying process. We sat down for hours and looked at countless diamonds until I found the PERFECT one I wanted that was within my budget. I showed him pictures of the rings my girlfriend liked and he built 3D designs allowing me to get an idea of what the finished product would look like. The service was unbelievable. I sincerely appreciated his insight, straight forward opinions, and his passion for jewelry. I immediately felt comfortable in a stressful situation (buying an engagement ring) and I have Jason and Skatell's to thank for that. Everyone genuinely wanted me to leave with something I was proud to give my girlfriend and I really enjoyed my time. Skatell has a lifelong customer!

Skatell's was such a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them. I worked with Jason over the course of a month to pick out the perfect ring. He was super responsive to emails and extremely helpful and honest throughout the entire process. He suggested me a site to pick out a setting and once I had narrowed it down to a few options, he gave some good advice on what to expect with each setting in terms of maintained even and the vulnerability of side stones potentially falling out. When I had organized a time to come in to select the diamond, he had arranged several diamonds to my criteria to look at under a microscope, out in the sunlight, and side by side. The entire experience was great; Jason and the employees as Skatells are true professionals and I won't hesitate to go back and continue giving them my business.
Very impressed and appreciative of the quality and customer service Skatell's provided for me. Jason went above and beyond to ensure I had the perfect engagement ring for my fiancee. He takes great pride in delivering an excellent product, and showed his understanding that an engagement ring needs to be as good as it can possibly be. He didn't try to up sell or talk me out of what I wanted to do, and the result was more than I was hoping for. Skatell's definitely earned a 5 star rating!!!
We've loved working with Skatell's! My now-husband picked out my ring here all by himself, coming several times over months to make decisions about every aspect of the ring, and the employees were wonderful to work with. Once we were engaged, we went together to pick out wedding bands and they were very accommodating and easy to work with, even when we couldn't make up our minds! We go back in every 6 months or so to have the ring checked out and they're always happy to make little adjustments for us and are quick, friendly, and just easy! My husband went back at Christmas and they helped him pick out a necklace and some earrings. He's not very fashionable and doesn't wear jewelry himself so we've so appreciated the sound advice and great customer service at Skatell's.
Working with Jason and the whole staff at Skatell's was an absolute pleasure. They really are a first class jeweler. I walked into Skatell's after being to ~16 other jewelry stores in the Charleston area. I had a very specific diamond shape I was looking for that is very rare. Every other store told me to settle for a marquis cut diamond, but Jason immediately dove into different ways we can custom build the Duchess Cut look (elongated hexagon). He then mentioned he was going to a diamond show in the next week and he could look for one there. After days of looking for this one specific diamond for me, he found it. And it is absolutely perfect and my now fiancé is beyond in love with it. The hard work, and extra effort Jason put forth for my fiancés ring is something you just don't see. I cant thank him and the staff enough and as I told Jason he now has 2 customers for life. I highly recommend Skatell's for all your jewelry needs, best in the business!
