What a fantastic experience. We were only vacationing in Charleston when i had an overnight injury to my eye. I googled "clinic" and called for an appointment with Access Healthcare based on their amazing reviews.
Two days later my eye was 99% better. I was so well taken care of with little to no inconvenience seeking emergency health care while in Charleston. I could not recommend Access Healthcare more highly. Thank you for calling me to follow up on my recovery the next day Doctor Dave! You are a hero!
Absolutely stunning office and the staff was amazing. I had to bring my friend in while we were on vacation for an extreme migraine and dehydration. The doctor was very knowledgeable and took great care of her.

Was a patient for 3 years. Had extremely difficult issues to deal with. He had patience and consistency to see me through. Very detail oriented. Housed in a beautiful downtown Charleston home, his office space is very welcoming to anyone who has an aversion to medical offices. Polar opposite experience of what you'd find at a hospital.
When you see Doctor Dave it's obvious he is the picture of health himself. He is also knowledgeable, informative and kind. He diagnosed and treated me for a corneal abrasion that had me up crying all night. It was like a miracle when he used magic eye drops to instantly dissapate the pain from the abrasion and sent me on my way with a precription for more eye drops to counter inflammation and pain while my eye healed.
I was attending a conference in Isle of Palms and am prone to severe migraines; low and behold I get a migraine Sat morning and did everything in my power to get rid of it but with no luck....my co-workers found Dr. David's office and rushed me there. He and his wife took excellent care of me after hours and called me today to check on me and see how I was doing. I've never had a better experience outside of my primary care physician at home in LA. I highly recommend Dr. David! Thank you!!!
I was at MUSC caring for my father when I developed back spasms. A google search turned up Access Healthcare. This was the most positive health care experience I've ever had. We were seen within 45 minutes of calling. The office is comfortable, beautiful, and quirky. Christina Sweatman was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and friendly. There were healthy snacks and drinks in the waiting room. The cost was extremely reasonable. This is the way it should be!
It was a Sunday morning but Doctor Dave saw me right away. The office is located in a fascinating historic downtown building and i felt at once as if we were being welcomed into the doctor's own home. His lovely wife, a local attorney, welcomed us and helped to admit me to the beautiful antiqued exam room while sipping on a bright green breakfast drink. What hospitality!
