It was alright. I can dig the ambience but lighting was a little awkward and the theme is not particularly novel. Food was okay. The salmon with lemon risotto and veggies almost tasted like Chinese takeout. Better in every way to take out but not by a whole lot
Everything was so delicious. We had the fried brie, the NY Strip and the Duck Breast. We finished up with the lightest and most delicious bread pudding. Even the espresso was perfect. Highly recommend this place. The service was also exceptional (Talia was our server), and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Another historic Charleston favorite! Difficult to get seating but so worth it!! Staff is friendly and the food is Amazing!
There may be a queue, you may have to wait, but it will all be worth it. The food was fabulous. We had a view of the kitchen from the shared high table. Staff were fab, made some great suggestions to boot.
Food, service, location - everything was SPECTACULAR! We sat at a window booth downstairs which was across the street from the carriage rides. Our two year old had a great time looking at the horse and carriages rides leaving. The food... omg... the FOOD. I have been living in Charleston a little under a year and this is by far the best food I've ever had here. My palette has never been happier and we will definitely be back very soon!!
