This place is not only gorgeous but the food is phenomenal. There's literally no other space quite like it in Charleston, the exposed beams, burnt wood walls and open fire grill make for a very cozy atmosphere. The meal was the best fine dining experience we've ever had in Charleston. The food is fresh and forward thinking while also being hardy and satisfying. They offer a wide variety of options from steak, fresh seafood and vegetarian. All widely sourced from local farms and purveyors. Also the wine list will not disappoint - neither will the craft cocktails. Go check it out y'all!

We had a group of 4 (no kids) for dinner. We had the greatest table, right by the chef. We were all very impressed with the kitchen, cooks, and chef. Great leadership, communication, and a cook even explained a couple things to us while he was working. We decided to order several plates and share "family-style". I do think that is the best way to eat there, as there were so many great items, it was good that we all shared. Mind blowing items: smoked half chicken, spare ribs, and "smores" like dessert. Skip the fish- good but forgettable. We will all DEFINITELY return! Fantastic visit.

Outstanding! The interior is beautiful and I love how it's location is tucked away downtown yet in the middle of everything. Our group of 6 friends had a fantastic night out from selecting bottles of wine to sharing starters. The entrees were delicious and the servers/bar staff were all very friendly and thoughtful. Will definitely return!

We made reservations for 7 on Saturday night which was unnecessary because we arrived and were the only ones there. More people arrived as we were leaving but it never was totally crowded. The inside was beautifully decorated and had a great ambience. The cocktails and service were great and the food was mostly great. We loved the sweet potato, shrimp dish, and charred cabbage. We also order braised greens which weren't anything special. Definitely wouldn't order them again. We also ordered the duck yakitori as well and were unpleasantly surprised with the fact that it was a skewer of hearts and other organs. They definitely should make that more clear. I usually like to order lots of small plates to share but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this here, as the best thing we had was the shrimp which was the full entree. I would like to go back and try more of the entrees

Our experience was amazing. The staff was delightful, knowledgeable, and attentive. It might be off the beaten path of King Street but the location is great and the building and furnishings are spot on. The open kitchen and clean modern vibe are very comfortable and relaxing. The food was creative to say the least...fresh...and delicious. We left knowing that we could never recreate at home every dish we tried. Even dessert was stellar. There is nothing negative to add.
