This was one of the best spa experiences I have had and it was so Charleston!!!! The spa is on an old stable, and the brick and other accoutrements of a stable remain. Lighting is dim and relaxing. Robes are fluffy and comfortable and the spa feels like a cocoon. So comfy!!
I should start by saying that my therapist' name today was Brittany. I was a bit skeptical as I always am when trying a new therapist but I was highly satisfied. I had driven to Greensboro and back so my back and hips were very tense and I was in pain but I decided to get the massage in spite of the fact that I had no clue who the therapist was. Come to find out she was new(a little over a month with Urban Nirvana) and she was amazing. Brittany is incredibly strong and the massage was very therapeutic. I am beyond impressed with how much better I feel. She usually works in the West Ashley location but works downtown on Fridays. So, if you're reading this and considering visiting the spa at the Wentworth Mansion, I highly recommend Brittany for a deep tissue massage.
Kim was absolutely amazing to work with! It was great finding out she was a military brat. The environment and ambiance was very welcoming and relaxing with a feng shui type vibe. We will be back in the future when we visit again.
The facial was superb. The beauty therapist tailored the facial to my skin and I could not have been more pleased. I had a small white posture for months before I scheduled my appointment and had learned to live with it. She immediately suggested we do something about it. I said " Yes Please!!" She tried several procedures but it didn't move. Lo and behold I go back to my hotel room and it came out so easily.
Great value !!! I got the add-on eye patches and I totally looked younger after having this facial!! She knows what she is doing.
Incredible experience. Staff is friendly and very professional. Relaxing spa services in a beautifully restored historic building. Hot stone massage is highly recommended.
Additionally my chin was tight and firm and my skin was soft and smooth. She did use a matt type of moisturizer so my skin was not super moist, but given this was summer and humidity was high, this was probably a good thing.
