Great place for large groups or a date. Went last night last with my girlfriend, the songs were great, and the singers were even better. A must go... if youve never been!!
My first only visit to this the piano bar: the piano player called the bartender an amateur stripper after she did her routine on the bar and didn't play one of the songs we tipped five dollars to play. I'm a bartender and our drinks were definitely under poured. I suggest you go to the others in town and don't waste your money here.
We're from RI - we were having a smoke outside while checking the menu yesterday afternoon. The hostess, April, and us chatted. We decided to have lunch but mentioned we'll finish our smoke first. She invited us out of the sun to have our smoke on the porch. Coming from the North we thought that was very kind of her. Needless to say up north strangers yell at you if you are standing on the street smoking. ... The porch had a beautiful breeze and we decided to dine there. She was so adorable when she offered that she'll make us an ashtray. ... The food was delicious - enjoyed how she explained the way they prepare the pork and such. We look forward to returning on Saturday evening. She explained the evening events and her enthusiasm was contagious. Thank you April for such a warm welcome and for non-judgment as we lit up a smoke while relaxing and dining on the porch.
My wife and I were in here last weekend as we are on vacation. First of all, we paid $20 each to get in which I find ridiculous, but we were told it was a good time so we decided to go in anyway. The drinks were good, but very pricey. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were awesome! The guy bartender had a great personality and was always smiling. Michele served us and she was an absolute delight! The piano players were pretty good as well. The only issues we had with them was they kept begging for money and that was a huge buzz kill. I think the one guy purposely skipped songs because he wasn't given a big enough tip to play them. They kept saying "buy us a drink", or, "don't forget to send it up with some love" (meaning money). That just ruins the fun and the mood. They were really good singers and entertainers, but they need to let us have a good time because we paid $20 a head to get in. If it wasn't for those specific problems, I'd say this place gets a 5 star review.
This place is lame! Requested 2 softball songs and they never played they "didn't know them?" Give me my tips back!
