Great atmosphere, great staff, awesome food. Great daily specials! Ambiance on patio is spectacular!! Must see, wonderful place tucked off main street. High recommend this place!!
I'm a very laid back understanding person, but I gotta say mynt was not as great of a place as it should have been. It's a big bar, with an outdoor bar also. I didn't check out the outdoor bar though so nothing to write about that. So I went there for a bar crawl, not many people there yet, I ordered my drinks and then even ordered food as it was the last spot. The guy bartender that night was solid but the girl bartender had way too much attitude and came off like she didn't want to be there or make good money from tips. The food easily took over 30 min (chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks), so I asked the girl if my food would almost be ready, and received "you have to understand there's other people who also ordered food"... Ya that's a great response if you didn't say "you have to understand" especially when there was barely anyone in the bar yet, again if it was busy, packed I understand the long wait, there was barely anyone in there yet... So when I finally got the food she brought me the wrong food and left the chicken fingers while I asked about the mozzarella sticks (those take a few minutes to make). The chicken tenders were brutal, easily the worse I've ever had, so watery that my gf didn't even want half of the one she started eating. The mozzarella sticks were solid though, but I was blamed by the bartender for her giving me the wrong order. This out of all the bars we went to that day (6 or 7 of them) was the worse one, I usually tip real well (I'll tip 5$ for a 3$ drink if you're that good of a bartender who makes it an enjoyable experience) she got 1$! I gave it two stars because of the size of the bar, outside bar and the lighting and scenery was nice, but no reason to go back.
Visiting from Maryland. Friend recommended this place. Got there at about 10:30pm Sat nite. Place was lit. Live dj. Hour music. Great time! Full of people but not over crowded to the point of not being able to move.
Great place to have a good time. Staff is always nice with excellent service. The patio is great for nice evenings out.
Horrible drinks and customer service. So many better places in Charleston. This is the worst place to go
